Life keeps throwing curveballs, doesn’t it? Between work stress, family responsibilities, and the mental weight of anxiety or depression, staying focused can feel like an uphill battle. Some days, it’s just hard to find clarity in the chaos. Not to mention that external chaos only adds more things for your brain to process, taking away energy and attention from the things that really matter.

At Finding Focus Therapy, we get it. Life can feel overwhelming and chaotic at times. That’s why we’re here. Our compassionate therapists are ready to help you find clarity and regain your sense of direction. Whether you’re a parent balancing a million things or a young adult figuring out your next steps while navigating tough emotions, we’re by your side every step of the way.

Executive Function Coaching for Adults

You’re doing all the “right” things—maybe you’ve finished school, landed a job, or started a relationship—but life still feels messy, uncertain, and hard to manage. Things like starting tasks, keeping up with schedules, or making decisions feel heavier than they should. You’re not lazy or failing, your brain just needs support. About Liz Morrison, LCSW

I created Finding Focus Therapy because no one should have to tackle life feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or on their own. With over 10 years of experience as a therapist, I’ve had the privilege of working with clients of all ages—from little ones to older adults. My true passion? Helping young adults and parents navigate the chaos of work, school, relationships, and everything else life throws their way as an executive function coach. What used to be just a small part of my work in therapy has now become my main focus, and I couldn’t be more excited about it.

As a parent, I get how tough it can be to juggle all the roles and responsibilities that life throws at you. Balancing work, family, and self-care isn’t easy—I’m currently living it. I’ve also faced the challenges that come with early adulthood, from figuring out where to live and navigating relationships to finding a career that feels meaningful. These experiences help me connect with my young adult clients on a deeper level. I understand what they’re going through, and I work with them to find practical tools and strategies to navigate these important years with confidence.

In addition to therapy and coaching, I host workshops and seminars for schools, businesses, and organizations. I focus on real-life topics like stress management, work-life balance, and better communication. My approach is all about keeping it fun and interactive, so you walk away with tools you can actually use in your day-to-day.

ABOUT

My Approach

My goal as your coach is simple: to meet your needs and help you thrive. I know your challenges are personal, so the plans we create should be too. That’s why I focus on a personalized, evidence-based approach that looks at the whole picture—not just executive functioning, but also your emotional and physical well-being. With training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, Play Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Parent-Child relational work, and Expressive Arts Therapy, I bring a variety of tools to the table. We’ll work together to find what fits you best, creating a path toward the growth and change you’re looking for.

If you’re navigating anxiety, ADHD, managing emotions, or tackling life’s challenges, I’m here for you. Whether it’s executive functioning, work-life balance, family dynamics, relationships, stress, parenting, or behavioral struggles, we’ll work together to create a plan that fits your needs. My goal is to help you build tools for meaningful progress and lasting success. You don’t have to face it alone—I’m here to support you every step of the way.
